Timpson has rolled out a new mental health support scheme for employees, giving staff access to personalised therapy services through therapist-matching platform Heard.
The retailer and services group said the initiative forms part of its ongoing commitment to employee wellbeing and is designed to make accessing mental health support simpler and more tailored to individual needs.
Under the scheme, employees can specify the type of support they are looking for and the kind of therapist they would feel most comfortable speaking with. They are then matched with accredited therapists and can browse practitioner profiles, watch introductory videos and arrange up to three free consultations before deciding who they would like to work with.
The service offers access to a range of therapeutic approaches, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), person-centred therapy and psychodynamic therapy.
