New research paints a concerning picture of the mental health challenges facing the HR profession.
The latest HR Mental Wellbeing Report 2026, published by Ultimate Resilience in partnership with Everywhen, examines the wellbeing of the people responsible for supporting the wider workforce.
It found that just 13% of HR professionals feel their own mental wellbeing is well supported at work.
Anxiety, depression and burnout remain widespread
The findings reveal significantly higher levels of poor mental health among HR professionals than in the wider UK population.
