UCL’s HR chief says she was touched at the positive response to an inaugural People and Culture Festival, which brought roughly 400 colleagues together last week to improve connections and build awareness of key HR initiatives.
On May 7, the festival gave staff the chance to learn more about navigating vital HR processes, and to discover how the university is developing its strategies on everything from recruiting and equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) to workplace health and compensation.
Donna Dalrymple, Chief People Officer at UCL, remarked that the festival was about “showing people that we are listening and acting on what matters to them.”
What did UCL’s People and Culture Festival include?
Employees from across UCL’s Professional Services department attended the festival, which was created in line with the university’s overarching People Plan.
