'Not part of the job' | 8 in 10 workers have experienced abuse at work in past year, some by colleagues & managers

Eight in 10 workers have experienced some form of abuse at work in the last year, with colleagues and managers listed among the perpetrators, a new survey reveals.  

The findings, based on a survey of 5,004 workers, show that in the last 12 months: 

  • 1 in 5 (19.4%) have experienced physical assault  

  • 1 in 10 (9.9%) have experienced sexual harassment or sexual violence at work
