‘Toxic’ | Dan Walker, ITN taken to tribunal over sexism, racism, & bullying claims at Channel 5

Channel 5 presenter Dan Walker is set to appear at an employment tribunal, in which he plans to defend allegations made by his former co-host of workplace sexism, misogyny, and bullying.

The claims brought forward by Claudia-Liza Vanderpuije will be the focus of a London-based tribunal beginning on 20 April.

ITN, the media production company which makes Channel 5 News, and Paramount, the owner of Channel 5, have also been named as respondents.

Vanderpuije’s lawyer claims she was a victim of a “sham redundancy” after blowing the whistle on a toxic workplace culture of “racism, sexism, misogyny, and bullying.”
