Ex-content moderators for TikTok are suing the firm, alleging the social media giant is bullying and harassing staff, particularly treating unfairly those involved with trade unions.
Lynda Ouazar said she had experienced “lots of bullying, harassment, exclusion from the team, from projects. A lot of things were going on.”
Speaking publicly for the first time, she told Sky News she had struggled with her wellbeing while working as a content moderator and later in quality control, checking the work of external agency moderators.
“I was finding it really hard to sleep at night, having flashbacks, feeling tired, losing my motivation,” she told Sky News.
