Virgin Media O2 has tapped into an employee volunteering scheme to deliver hundreds of gifts to vulnerable children across the UK, bringing joy just in time for Christmas.
Staff donated over 450 Christmas gifts to Action for Children’s annual Giving Trees initiative, with gifts handpicked and dropped off at local centres nationwide.
Employees were able to take part in the gift drive and give up their time through Virgin Media O2’s Take FIVE volunteering programme, which offers five fully paid days each year to support local communities and charitable causes.

Virgin Media O2 and Action for Children set up ‘Giving Trees’ at offices across the UK, including Birmingham, Manchester, and Paddington, a statement shared with HR Grapevine said.
