A manager at a PR firm harassed and undermined her employee with ADHD when she called her “disorganised” for missing a meeting, a tribunal has ruled.
The worker was placed on a performance improvement plan after missing a series of calls and meetings, having allegedly told colleagues she had been “out for a massage” or visiting Starbucks.
Nicole Hogger, a PR account manager, is now in line for compensation after suing her former employer for disability harassment, disability discrimination, and constructive dismissal.

In October 2018, Hogger joined Genesis PR as a Senior PR Account Executive, enjoying initial success at the firm. Two years later, in 2020, she was promoted to Account Manager after her line manager “championed” her work.
