Slashing headcount | Google rolls out voluntary buyouts for UK staff, following US scheme

Google has begun offering voluntary buyouts to employees in its UK offices, mirroring a similar programme introduced in the US earlier this year. 

Sources familiar with the situation told Business Insider that an email went out to UK staff this week inviting them to take a voluntary exit package, which was later confirmed by a Google spokesperson.
