Misconduct | Only a third of HR teams receive whistleblowing training

Despite playing a crucial role in dealing with misconduct and wrongdoing in the workplace, only a third (36%) of HR and people teams are actually receiving training, according to research by Safecall, the leading independent whistleblowing solutions provider.

Also concerning is less than a third (31%) of line managers are currently receiving training - despite being the most likely port of call for employees reporting malpractice. HR & people teams (36%) are receiving training the most, followed by customer-facing employees (31%) and leadership teams (30%). As well as:

  • 23% - All staff

  • 21% - C-suite
