Earlier this week, the Government announced it would be reviving the Pensions Commission in a bid to give millions of people across the UK a more secure retirement.

In the wild and wacky world of pensions news, that's a biggie.

The commission last met in 2006, leading to the landmark roll-out of auto-enrolment pensions. Among other changes, the initiative helped increase the number of eligible employees saving by 60% since 2012.
