Moonlighting | Council worker guilty of fraud after holding four jobs at once

A council employee who secretly held four public sector jobs at the same time has been found guilty of fraud amounting to more than £230,000.

Bryn Howells was convicted after it emerged he had been working for multiple councils simultaneously between February 2022 and June 2023.

During that period, Howells was employed in the following roles:

  • Strategic Housing and Enabling Officer at Tewkesbury Borough Council
