A former GB News presenter has filed an employment tribunal claim against the broadcaster. He is pursuing a range of allegations, including unfair dismissal, race and belief discrimination, victimisation, whistleblowing detriment, and unequal pay.

Albie Amankona, the former co‑host of GB News’s The Saturday Five, was taken off air in August 2024 after saying he believed former Home Secretary Suella Braverman a "racist and a thoroughly bigoted woman” during a July broadcast. GB News issued a prompt apology to Braverman, stating his remarks “crossed a line between robust debate and causing unnecessary offence&rdquo
