Will technology and AI disruption mean HR and employees can spend time on more meaningful work?
This was the prevailing question explored across last week’s Dayforce EMEA 2025, hosted at the Park Plaza Riverbank in London. It is undoubtedly a familiar one for people professionals, and one that will continue to crop up in HR department meetings and HR conferences for the foreseeable future.
Across a one-day event packed with expert-led talks, breakout discussions, and intimate networking, business leaders and HR professionals from across EMEA acknowledged mutual frustrations, reviewed best practices, and reflected on the opportunities that tech-enabled transformation could bring to resource-constrained employers.
Throughout the day, the emphatic answer to that pressing question was a resounding yes. As Nicole Bello, Group Vice President, EMEA at Dayforce, told HR Grapevine: “In terms of AI, there is a lot of excitement in HR departments to do more.”
