Amazon staff hail impact of £8,000 pre-paid tuition perk

Amazon has celebrated the impact of its ‘Career Choice’ education programme, a perk that encourages employees to obtain new qualifications by covering a hefty chunk of the associated tuition fees.

Introduced in 2012, the benefit has given over 250,000 Amazon employees across the globe access to pre-paid education and training since its inception.

In a post on its website, the e-commerce giant posted a series of stories from Career Choice participants, including a warehouse packer turned HR partner.

‘Career Choice’ – What is Amazon’s pre-paid tuition perk?

The Career Choice programme is an education benefit that pre-pays 95% of tuition fees and associated costs for a wide range of nationally recognised courses.
