Accenture has been blocked from bidding on a lucrative £50million contract with Transport for London (TfL), two months after it moved to sunset diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programmes.
The consulting firm no longer meets the diversity criteria TfL demands from its suppliers.
In February, a memo sent by Accenture CEO Julie Sweet confirmed that the organisation would be scrapping diversity targets set in 2017 and removing dedicated development programmes for “people of specific demographic groups.
