Uber extends free childcare offer to 100,000+ drivers nationwide

Uber has announced it will roll out free childcare services to drivers across the UK after a successful pilot scheme.

The ride-hailing platform confirmed it is expanding its partnership with on-demand childcare service Bubble to provide the initiative.

Bubble, an on-demand childcare platform, connects parents with local, vetted babysitters and nannies. Drivers can easily browse, meet, and book sitters – either in advance or at short notice.

A pilot of the scheme, which launched in 2023, saw Uber fund a total of 10,000 hours of free childcare for 1,000 Uber drivers.
