UK dog owners are reshaping their work lives to accommodate looking after their pets, according to a new survey.
The survey by Sainsbury’s Bank revealed that owning a dog is prompting many to re-evaluate their work-life balance, adapting their work schedules to care for their canine companions.
16% of respondents revealed that they are modifying their work hours to accommodate looking after their dogs, with 13% working from home more regularly.
The findings indicate that dog ownership is prompting many to re-evaluate their work-life balance and adjust their schedules accordingly. As nearly a third (31%) say that their dog has increased their awareness of the importance of work-life balance.
