Manchester United’s HR chief is among several executives leaving their roles amid the club's continued cost-cutting spree.
Annie Hale, People & Transformation Director, makes up a trio of departing executives - reports The Athletic. She had held her position since 2019, first as HR Director, then People & Sustainability Director, before taking her current job title in September 2024.
She previously held a mixture of HRD and senior HR roles at Manchester Airport Group, HSS Hire, Phones4U and Marks & Spencer.
Hale's remit recently involved overseeing the hundreds of redundancies being made by the Premier League club. She will be leaving alongside Florence Lafaye, Man Utd’s Commercial Director, and James Holroyd, Chief Commercial Development Officer. All three will remain in post until the summer.
