'A mistake' | Talksport faces backlash for 'lack of consultation' with staff over Jermaine Jenas reappointment

The re-appointment of Jermaine Jenas to Talksport punditry duties following his BBC axing has caused disruption among the radio station’s staff.

Jenas is set for his first return to UK broadcasting since he was sacked from the BBC in August 2024, on the same day he appeared live on air on Talksport’s Drivetime show.

The former Match of the Day and The One Show host lost his roles at the BBC after “alleged issues relating to workplace behaviour.”

Subsequent reports alleged that Jenas sent explicit texts to two female employees at the BBC.
