Barclays is clamping down on working from home by increasing the number of days that staff must come into the office.
The banking behemoth sent a memo to many of its 85,000 employees, informing them that they are now expected to attend their office for a minimum of three days of week. The limit was previously two days per week.
Some Barclays workers are already required to be in the office for a full five days per week - including investment bankers, client/customer-facing teams and certain office roles.
A Barclays spokesperson said: "We recognise the benefits of balancing flexibility for colleagues with the importance of working together to collaborate in our physical locations.
