Startup boss shares 'world's first' job advert for AI employee

A startup CEO has claimed to have posted the “world’s first” job advert for an AI employee.

Dan Thomson, CEO and founder of Sensay – a company that says it is building AI-powered “digital clones of employees” – echoed recent calls from business leaders for employers to start treating AI agents less like tools and more like digital colleagues.

The tech executive argued the discussion of AI agents impacting the workforce is leading to tension rather than harmony between employees and tech and claimed to be leading the charge with his unusual job advert.

What’s in the AI employee job advert?

The supposed world-first job ad was published over two weeks ago on LinkedIn and Sensay’s website, inviting applications for a role titled ‘Full Stack Developer (AI Agent)’.
