Selco Builders Warehouse has announced improvements to its maternity, paternity, and adoption leave policies.
The changes follow a year-long initiative to gather employee feedback on family leave policies.
Sally Kerr, HR Director for Selco, hailed the new measures, describing the improvements as a “significant step forward” in the company’s support for employees juggling work and family responsibilities.
Selco increases family leave policies to cement ‘employer of choice’ status
Under the new family leave policies, Selco staff taking maternity leave or adoption leave will now be entitled to 16 weeks of full pay, a significant increase from the previous allowance of six weeks.
