‘Financial resilience’ | Royal London offers staff home heating perk to tackle energy bill costs

Royal London has added a novel perk to its employee benefits package designed to help staff lower their energy bills and improve their carbon footprint.

The scheme offers employees expert consultations about heating efficiency improvements and a subsequent interest-free grant or loan to help them pay for recommended switches such as green retrofits or heat humps.

Kirsten Paterson, Reward Partner at Royal London, said the scheme enable employees to “save money, save energy, and reduce emissions at home.”
