JPMorgan & WPP staff push back against return-to-office mandates

JPMorgan and advertising giant WPP have faced backlash from employees after recent moves to increase requirements for in-office attendance.

After planning to mandate all staff to work in-office five days a week, JPMorgan has closed down an internal forum where employees criticised the controversial order.

Meanwhile, over 5,000 people have signed a petition calling on WPP’s chief executive to revoke the return-to-office (RTO) policy.

After initial reports indicated JPMorgan’s intentions to call employees back to the office full-time, a memo shared on Friday confirmed the plans.
