MasterChef host Gregg Wallace will step down from presenting the hit cooking show while allegations of misconduct against him are investigated.
Wallace has been accused of inappropriate comments of a sexual nature made by more than a dozen colleagues who worked with him on MasterChef and other shows over a period of 17 years, the BBC reported.
Among those to come forward was Kirsty Wark, a broadcaster who competed on Celebrity MasterChef in 2011.
Speaking to BBC News, Wark alleged that Wallace told “sexualised” jokes during production of the show which were "really, really in the wrong place".
