Save the Children's leadership team made a series of “egregious” errors during a recent restructuring, members of its workforce have claimed.
The alleged mistakes include the introduction of a “inherently racist” pay scale that was immediately and pressuring at-risk employees to accept job offers without key details on salary or location.
The New Humanitarian reported on the series of blunders after speaking to six individuals employed by the charity on the condition of anonymity.
“Unfortunately, there has been such an egregious series of obvious blunders and questionable decision-making that’s led to widespread loss of trust and confidence in the leadership,” one Save the Children employee told The New Humanitarian.
