Bus driver suspended amid concerns over social media activity

Bus operator First has suspended an employee amid concerns about their social media activity.

The company is investigating the online actions of a colleague based in Bradford, according to reports from local newspaper the Telegraph & Argus.

The outlet reported that a member of the public contacted reporters with screenshots of “highly inappropriate” social posts which reportedly had “strong anti-Semitic tones.”

A spokesperson for First Bradford told the publication: "We can confirm we have been made aware of social media posts by a member of staff, who has been suspended pending an investigation."
