‘Harassed & degraded’ | Employee with MS sues TikTok alleging disability discrimination & a toxic work environment

TikTok, owned by ByteDance Ltd., has been hit by a lawsuit from a UK-based employee who claims she faced disability discrimination and a toxic work environment.

Olivia Anton Altamirano, a content moderator who still works at the video-sharing platform, said she suffered from stress and pregnancy complications as a result of her treatment, according to a report by Bloomberg.
