Man Utd staff claim they're 'forced to eat in a toilet' amid cost-cutting measures

Staff at Manchester United have made bizarre claims about how cost-cutting measures at the football club have impacted their lunch breaks—including that they have been ‘forced to eat in a toilet.’

According to a report by the Daily Mail, some of United’s matchday workers reported that the setting for their midday meal has left them quite literally down in the dumps.

“They’ve set up a dining table next to four toilet cubicles,” one source reportedly said. “You come out of the cubicle and someone is sat in right front of you, eating.”

Manchester United have disputed the claim by the staff, stating that eating next to the toilets isn’t mandatory.
