"This is a company for grown-ups" was the message from a tech CEO to his London staff after announcing a full-time return-to-office.
Carl Pei, CEO of Nothing, the start-up behind the ‘Nothing Phone’ smartphone, was founded during the pandemic and, as a result, had to “make do” with remote and hybrid working since its inception.
But now, the boss says that’s coming to an end because remote & hybrid set-ups are “not compatible" with Nothing’s ambitious plans.
Staff who feel unable to fulfil the five days a week in-office should “find an environment where [they] thrive” as the company expects employees to “go the full mile” in the coming years, said Pei.
