Ted Baker has closed its last stores in the UK after revealing it would be shutting its doors earlier in the year, putting over 500 jobs at risk.
The owner of Ted Baker, No Ordinary Designer Label (NODL), went into administration in March, hinting at the brand closing its doors.
While NODL is the holding company for the brand in the UK, whilst in the US the firm’s intellectual property is owned by Authentic Brands Group.
Initially, administrators said Authentic was continuing to search for a UK and European operating partner “for the Ted Baker brand”. However, reportedly, over the weekend the possibility of this was no longer and conversations had stalled.
