'Hateful beliefs' | 'Serious implications' for HR as Gov plans to treat misogyny as form of extremism

The UK Government will treat extreme misogyny as a form of extremism, Yvette Cooper, the home secretary, has said.

Cooper has ordered a review of the UK’s counter-extremism strategy, which was outlined in Labour’s manifesto, to clamp down on threats caused by extremism "both online and on our streets" that "frays the very fabric of our communities and our democracy".
