An employee has shared a story on Reddit of how they refused to contribute to a colleague’s ‘condolence money’ when a member of their family had passed away.

In the post, the worker explains how they refused to give money to a co-worker's fund after the same act was not given to them when their grandmother passed away because they couldn’t provide a death certificate.
