Amazon accused of pressuring UK workers into voting against unionisation

Amazon faces a legal challenge over alleged union-busting tactics after a campaign for union recognition at a UK depot failed by just a handful of votes.

2,600 workers at the firm’s Coventry site recently took part in a ballot on whether to recognise the GMB union. 49.5% of the voters backed union recognition, falling short of victory by just 28 votes.
