Strictly Come Dancing star Graziano Di Prima exits show amid misconduct allegations

The BBC’s hit TV show Strictly Come Dancing has been overshadowed by controversy after the broadcaster sacked one of its dancers, amid allegations of gross misconduct.

Professional dancer Graziano Di Prima has been removed from the upcoming season, which is due to air in September, following the claims. 

While specific details of the allegations against Di Prima have not been officially disclosed, multiple reports circulating online allege there was physical and verbal abuse aimed at Zara McDermott, a celebrity with whom Di Prima was partnered during last year’s show.

Unsurprisingly, these accusations were serious enough to prompt the BBC to take immediate action and remove Di Prima from the show.
