What does the Euro 2024 final mean for workplaces on Monday?

It is a momentous and historic weekend for English football. The Three Lions will be competing against Spain in the Euro 2024 final, for a chance at their first men’s European Championship title.

English fans up and down and country will be gathering in hopes of victory - while the rest of the British Isles will more than likely be cheering on the Spanish.

Either way, England’s historic clash will be a big night for millions of fans and, naturally, booze will be in free flow, whether it be celebratory or commiseratory drinking.

The game’s 8pm kick off on Sunday means there’ll be virtually no recovery time for weary football fans, meaning HR should be braced for headaches over any employees who haven’t booked Monday off work to nurse their own sore heads.
