Children have amazing imaginations. And them knowing they have their whole lives ahead of them to do whatever they want is an important aspect of their development. That’s why they are often encouraged by their caregivers to dream big.
In a recent survey of 1306 six to 17-year-olds in the UK, from YouGov and Great Ormond Street Hospital, saw the nation’s children reveal what their dream career is.
Prime Minister was at the bottom of the list of desirable job paths for young people followed slowly by wishes to be an activist. And, perhaps unsurprisingly, one-in-five children said they want to be a footballer one day.
16% of participants said they want to be a video game developer, 20% of ten-year-olds said they want to be an influencer but only 6% of 15-year-olds said the same.
