You’ve likely seen the recent debacle surrounding the ‘Willy's Chocolate Experience’ in Glasgow.

The event, which was billed as a magical family day out, but quickly devolved into a shambles of poor planning, has inspired major news headlines, been immortalised in meme form and even been parodied on Saturday Night Live.

However, whilst news of the event may offer a chuckle to some, and inspire frustration in others, it does also hold within it some pretty key lessons that HR should take to heart. Unsurprisingly, most of these brutal lessons are around employee experience, customer experience and reputation.
