Since its launch, the James Webb Space Telescope has been wowing the public with unprecedented images of the universe as never seen before.
For astronomers however, this sophisticated observatory is providing much more than that: every day, around 50 gigabytes (GB) of data are streamed back to our planet, and scientists have confessed they are unable to process it all. In comparison, the Hubble Space Telescope, launched in 1990, sends back around one to two GB of data per day.
