HR has plenty to ponder this week as the Government rolls out its ‘Plan B’ Covid measures.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced the new restrictions last week at a Downing Street press conference broadcasted by the BBC, widely referred to as ‘Plan B’, in response to rapidly rising rates of the Covid variant omicron.
As well as re-imposing rules on face masks in most public places last Friday, December 10, advice to work from home wherever possible has been reintroduced from today, December 13. From Wednesday, December 15, COVID passes for certain venues will also make a comeback.
But how will the new measures affect the workforce, and how should HR approach the challenges presented?
