‘Freedom Day’ has arrived – the day in which almost all legal lockdown restrictions have been lifted in England – which will likely have a follow on impact for the world of work and HR.
July 19, 2021, will see changes to rules surrounding the opening of remaining businesses and working from home among other things, according to reports.
This news has attracted the attention of Rupert Morrison, Economist and CEO at orgvue, who said that ‘Freedom Day’ “won’t magically remove risk from the workplace or persuade every employee to ditch their home office for the commute”.
Morrison added: “The future of work needs to reflect this - there is no one-size-fits-all solution which will work for every company, or even one solution which will suit everyone within a company.”
