Pride Month is celebrated every June and is a month dedicated to celebrating LGBT+ communities around the world, both in the workplace and wider society. June is the chosen month to celebrate Pride as it marks the month of the Stonewall riots.
In a previous interview with HR Grapevine, Emma Kosmin, Associate Director of Workplace Client Relationships at Stonewall, said that Pride is a good opportunity to celebrate and support LGBT+ people around the world.
She added: “Many of us spend much of our lives at work, and all employers have a vital role to play in ensuring that their LGBT+ staff feel able to be themselves at work.”
As such, HR Grapevine spoke to Wickes and BAT to find out how they are celebrating Pride Month in 2021 and including LGBT+ colleagues.
