LGBT+ | The most inclusive industries in the UK

Every year, June marks Pride Month – a time to celebrate the LGBT+ community and within the professional world, highlight ways in which companies can ensure that diversity and inclusion is high on their agenda.

And, as part of its celebration of Pride, Adzuna today released research that reveals the industries and cities most inclusive for the LGBT+ community within the UK.

To ascertain where on the list different cities should fall, the company analysed nearly 9.7million job vacancies and highlighted job ads proactively containing inclusive language, welcoming jobseekers of all sexual orientations to apply.

It discovered that Science & QA is the most LGBT+ inclusive UK industry, with 12.6% of job ads actively promoting diversity in the workplace regardless of sexual orientation.
