Domino’s Pizza is looking to hire 5,000 cooks and delivery drivers, as workers who joined the firm amid the coronavirus crisis go back to previous roles.
To keep up with consumer demands, the BBC reported that the restaurant firm had hired thousands of workers in the last year.
Event managers, taxi drivers and hairdressers, who were unable to carry out their roles due to COVID-19 lockdown restrictions, were among some of those hired by the fast-food chain during this time.

Yet, with the easing of coronavirus restrictions, some of the firm’s pandemic recruits are now heading back to their former jobs. The Mirror reported that some have stayed on in the company too.
