Is 'divorce grief' impacting your staff?

Last year it emerged that divorce rates increased around the world, with relationship experts citing the pandemic as the main cause for the spike.

Statistics have supported this as law firm Stewarts shared that it logged a 122% increase in divorce enquiries between July and October 2020 in the UK.

Carly Kinch, Partner at Stewarts, told the BBC that the pandemic has acted as “the perfect storm” for couples, as the several lockdown periods and social distancing measures have forced couples to spend increased amounts of time with one another, which has ultimately led to divorce.

This has sparked an increase in ‘divorce grief’, which in turn has started to have a damaging impact on businesses and their staff.
