O2 is giving its employees the ability to express their gender identity by allowing employees to add pronouns to their badges.
The option will be given to those working in stores once retail outlets are open again next month, while employees outside of store roles will be able to share their pronouns on email signatures if they wish.
This will allow staff members to indicate how they would like to be referred to in the workplace by colleagues and customers.
Spearheaded by O2’s internal LGBT+ network, Proud@O2, this is the latest step the firm has made to foster a more diverse and inclusive culture.
