REVEALED | Duvet days & 'pawternity leave' among 'top work perks' for 2021

Duvet days, ‘pawternity leave’ and work-from-home allowances have been identified as some of the top work perks for 2021.

Analysis of more than 750,000 open roles on Adzuna in February 2021 shed light on some of the more unusual work perks being advertised, pointing towards the ways employers can attract top talent.

While duvet days have been around for a few years, Adzuna has noted an uptick in firms offering this perk during the pandemic with 520 jobs boasting this type of perk currently.

In addition, with puppy sales increasing throughout the pandemic, it is possible that this perk – paid time off to settle in a new furry friend – will become more popular than ever. Companies including BrewDog introduced ‘pawternity leave’ in 2017.
