Thousands of Amazon workers were mistakenly told to isolate by test and trace in what could be described as an HR nightmare.
According to Sky News, the tracing programme told almost 4,000 workers (3,853) on Saturday that they were positive and must isolate as a result.
This is despite having tested negative, according to the Department for Health and Social Care.
The publication reported that the online behemoth has used PCR tests for its staff members since Autumn last year, with the e-commerce giant reporting results to Public Health England every day.
