Almost 50% claim to have no flexible work arrangements

New data from the CIPD has revealed that UK workers are facing massive variation in the implementation of flexible working.

The 2,000-strong survey unearthed that almost half (or 46%) said that they have no flexible working arrangements at all in their current role.

Many companies, especially with high numbers of working parents, have implemented flexible working, remote-only and even adjusted hours policies to cater for those who are struggling in the pandemic.

Despite this, the research found that a high volume of firms are unwilling to offer such benefits.
